History can be an incredibly valuable tool for mankind and, if analyzed properly, can prevent modern civilizations from repeating the mistakes and misunderstandings of the past. When history loses its validity, however, it loses its value. Unfortunately, politicians, the media, and educators have a tendency of manipulating historical fact or inserting personal bias to align the past with their own visions of the future. This is not only true for liberals but for all people of authority. When the public accepts false notions of the past without seeking the truth, it becomes mindless and submits itself to the visions of those in power. This is a dangerous reality because sealing oneself off from the truth can lead to blind support for corrupt leaders and visionaries, resulting in catastrophic social issues such as those exposed in this book. Every race and culture has a place in history and much can be learned if one critically examines the facts. The best way to promote progress in race relations is to consider the objective history behind every group of people. Today, too much is assumed without consideration of the facts, such as the misguided belief that blacks must be provided welfare, affirmative action, and other forms of compensation to promote their success in society. History is a powerful resource as mankind ventures into the future, so long as this history does not reflect the hidden agendas and personal prejudices of those in power.
